Vitapops Blog!

Hi guys! Krel here with my Vitapops blog!

When the event started, I went there with my friend EJ. I was given a  loot bag which had an activity pass. There were 11 activities, but you can only participate in only 5 of them.  After finishing 5 activities, you can get 1 snack. You can also join the raffle and get a toy. You can repeat the same activity again until you reach your fifth and final activity.  There were activities like Buzz Wire, Ring Toss, and Balloon Pop. I was really hopeless at the activities, but I didn’t care because I had so much fun.

Vitapops is a vitamin rich in Vitamin C, and the reason it got its name is because it pops in your mouth. It's like crazy people are shouting at the top of their voice while wearing rocket boosters.

Before I finished the activities, however, my friend EJ said I could claim my snack already. So I got my favorite snack: popcorn! Then after finishing my popcorn, I completed my fifth activity, which was Buzz Wire. Then, I joined him in relaxing. My friend EJ brought his PSP and was playing Final Fantasy. I was watching him. It was cool!

Then, after about 10-15 minutes playing, my mom dropped by. She said she was just around the corner and asked us why we didn’t call her. EJ thought she was at the place we were relaxing in. Then we went outside because the host was speaking. I asked my mom to write my name and put my activity pass in the raffle. She also asked me what toy would I want. I chose a Slinky because I thought it was cool. Then she went to put my pass in the raffle. My friend and I were still relaxing while the speaker was talking (Hehehehehehehehe)

But while I was watching, I was also listening a bit. I learned that if a certain bacteria infects a certain body part, you will get a certain disease. For example, if that bacteria goes into your skin, you will get cancer. After the event ended, I said good bye to EJ and went to do a bit of errands. Before I go, here re some pics!

Well, that's all. See ya!

All About Japan Blog!

Hey there! Konnichiwa! Krel here with my All About Japan Blog! In ancient times, the Japanese were very superstisious, and belived in ghosts.  They also used weapons like katanas and naginatas. Emperors also ruled. People in ancient Japan also prayed in shrines often, and believed in a number of deities. They also do it now, in the present too. Japan’s flag symbol is a red sun, earning it the nickname “Land of the Rising Sun”. Now, in the present, Japan is known for it’s anime shows, which have been released worldwide since the 1980s. The first animated short was shown in 1917. Examples of animes are: Fairy Tail, Kekkaishi, and Bleach. Hayao Miyazaki, the founder of Ghibli Studios, has also produced a number of movies, such as Tonari no Totoro and Mononoke-hime.  Japan also has famous landmarks, such as Mt Fuji (Fuji-san/Fuji-yama) and Ghibli Studios. Japan also has cherry blossom trees (sakura) that, when its flowers are in full bloom, are very beautiful. Well, that’s all! See ya! Ja ne! Here are some pics, too!

Katsu! Osu! Drum Tao Blog!

Hey! Krel here, with my Drum Tao Blog! Tao is Chinese for way or road. We were late because of me. XS By the time we were there, an act ended already. The best part was a play-like part in which a troop of bad guys appear to steal something and get the good guys to betray each other in a fight. But the rest were really great and loud, with Naruto-like chants. They also played music similar to Naruto, too. They used giant drums, Japanese flutes and guitars, and various other instruments. These guys have a lot of practice, and can beat their drums simultaneously. Also, as the show gets longer, the music becomes louder and more enjoyable. It’s more like a musical to me! You can get a CD or a DVD outside the cinema. The DVD is P1700 while CD is P900. The Drum Tao concert starts at July 12, 2012 and ends at July 22, 2012. The Drum Tao concert is located at Resort’s World Newport City Mall’s Performing Arts Theater. See ya, minna! Sayonara!

RRC Experience Blog!

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII GUYS! Krel here with my RRC Blog! When I woke up, I quickly prepared myself, because we had to go at 8:00 A.M.  I took a bath, dressed up, brushed my teeth, ate, and got my stuff. I did forget some things. X( When I arrived at camp, I looked for my cabin, Myanmar 13. I eventually found the meeting place, and met my friends there.

We went to the bus, sat down and waited for our whole group to arrive and take their places in the seats. Then we watched The Game Plan.

It was so awesome, so like Real Steel, but it didn’t hype me up that much! The best part was the game between Boston and New York. I saw two Real Steel  family problems: 1, the family relationship, and 2, the way the fathers acted toward their children at first.

Then, we had some stopovers, and then arrived in RRC. We had a little announcement by the camp director, and then we proceeded to get our bags and go to our cabins. Once we settled in our cabins, I stayed on the bunk bed near the bathroom with my buddy, Dennis.

The next day, there was an announcement that all the indoor hockey players did not have a venue. So, I switched my sport to basketball, but I do admit that I rarely get a pass! X(((((D

The main event for every day except Sunday was my most favourite sport: swimming! We used a water slide to perform water slide styles and go BOOM! My signature style was the Meteor, where I embrace my legs and rocket down like a meteor! I use other water slide styles, too.

I also practiced songs, and participated in cabin cleanups. I didn’t win, but there’s always a next time! On Saturday, we had s’mores, glowsticks, and a campfire! COOOOOOOOOOOOL, right?

Before we departed, we had our last session and a closing program. Our group, Kids Squad 4 God, was the coolest!(We even had background music.) When we ate our lunch, we made our way to the bus. We also watched Real Steel on the way back.

After making our way back, I waited, drank some water, and met up with my dad. That’s all! See ya! Ja ne!

It's A Never-Ending Chase! Tom and Jerry Blog!

Tom chasing Jerry.(Just like the old days...)
Hey! It’s a dog-eat-dog… no, cat-chase-mouse world out there! Hiya! Krel here with my Tom and Jerry blog! This show focuses on Tom, a tom cat, and Jerry, a house mouse. The two frequently chase each other, sometimes ending in situations that would moderately injure or even kill a person. (Ex. Tom getting run over by a train)

William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the creators of Tom and Jerry, won lots of awards after creating Tom and Jerry. Sometimes, Tom and Jerry would have a temporary truce in some episodes. But sometimes Jerry would use this as a shield to prevent Tom from attacking him.( Ex.Million-Dollar Cat) or uses it to torment Tom (Ex. Matchiffe Mouse)

A Temporary Truce... of Doom!
Sometimes Jerry uses Spike as a distraction for him to escape or as a weapon. Thinking that Tom was to blame, Spike will proceed to beat Tom up off screen and sometimes Tom would emerge totally beat up. Before this, if either Tom or Jerry(on rare occasions) were disturbing Spike or Tyke, or if Spike wanted to teach Tyke something, he would warn Tom or both of them. On rare occasions, sharks would take up Spike’s job of mauling Tom. In one episode, a shark showed up to prevent Tom from eating a goldfish. After that was over, it proceeded to scare Jerry.

The greatest episodes I have ever watched are: "The Game Of Cat And Mouse", which is an episode where Jerry dreams that he can beat (and outwit) Tom, and "Jerry’s Cousin", where Jerry’s cousin, Muscles, comes along and beats upTom  for Jerry, but Tom tries to call exterminators, which backfires on him in the end.

There is a similar cartoon, which I also watch, called Oggy and the Cockroaches. This time, it also focuses on a blue feline, named Oggy, and his cousin Jack, who try to fend off three mischief-making cockroaches, Dee Dee, Marky, and Joey. This cartoon is slightly more violent, but, like Tom and Jerry, has no blood scenes. But instead of anvils and and pianos coming out of nowhere, buses, submarines, and spaceships(or even planets ramming into Earth) fall or crash instead. And on rare occasions, nuclear explosions happen! Whew! Okay, that’s all! See ya! Ja ne!

Holy Kettle Corn Blog!

Hey! Krel here with my very first blog that has comparing: The Holy Kettle Corn blog! I tasted the popcorn flavors Sour Cream and Smoking Barbecue. They came from my mom. They were great and so good! I want to get some sometime.

The Sour Cream had a little popcorn taste and the tang of sour cream. What I like about it is it’s really tasty and what I don’t like about it is it doesn’t satisfy me so much. The popcorn pack had some popcorn flakes at the bottom.

Smoking Barbecue had the spiciness of barbecue after munching it for a few minuites. Like Sour Cream, It had some popcorn flakes at the bottom. What I like about it is it’s my favorite and what I don’t like about it it it’s so spicy!

Add caption

Yow! I was watching Big Bang Theory when I ate both popcorn flavors. The episode I watched was an episode we already watched.

But it was so funny! The funniest part of it was Sheldon fainting after he sees blood on his thumb! To me BBT is the funniest comedy ever!  That’s all! See ya! Ja ne!

Topsy-Kirby Blog!

Hey there! Krel with my Kirby blog! Kirby was originally going to be named Popopo. In one of the Kirby games that has been created, there is a level named Popopo Islands, which references this.

Kirby, like Mario, has an archenemy. But unlike Mario, his archenemy has some kind of appreciation for Kirby. This is shown in the anime, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!  King Dedede is Kirby’s archenemy.

King Dedede is usually seen with his hammer, which he will use as his weapon for fighting Kirby. In almost every Kirby game he debuts in, he is the main antagonist and will stop at nothing to humiliate or eliminate  Kirby.

Meta Knight is like an acquaintance and/or an enemy to Kirby. In Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, he gave Kirby his Galaxia sword for him to use, transforming Kirby into Master Kirby(Master Kirby is not a title for Kirby, just Kirby’s name for this respective ability).

The Galaxia sword, when used by Kirby, is considered as a final weapon( It will be explained in paragraph 4).

Kirby’s signature ability is the Inhale, in which Kirby inhales every thing in his range. After a few seconds, it becomes a Super Inhale, inhaling bigger enemies and mid-bosses. This is Kirby’s special ability.

Next is the Star Spit. Kirby inhales an enemy, then spits the enemy back out. inhaling 2 or more enemies makes the star Kirby spits out stronger. This is Kirby’s second special ability.

Kirby can fly by inhaling air and flapping his arms like wings. This is Kirby’s third special ability.

While flying in midair or floating down to land, Kirby can perform his Air Gun. Kirby will simply exhale a breath of air and use it as a projectile.

While on water, Kirby can perform a variation of the Air Gun, the Water Gun, unless he has weapon-based abilities like Sword, Hammer, Triple Star(Squeak Squad only),  Parasol, etc.

.Kirby can perform a melee attack called the Slide Kick/Attack, too. Kirby will crouch and slide, plus while he does that, he will execute a kick, or, when he crouches on a slope, he will roll like a cannonball on a mountain.

In Kirby Super Star Ultra, he has 3 new moves: the guard, the normal beam, and the face-to- face food transfer.

Kirby guards by simply holding his arm over his head.

In order to perform the Normal Beam, Kirby first needs a Helper. While Kirby is standing close to or beside his Helper, Kirby will shoot two light blue projectiles and turn his Helper into an item.

If Kirby(or his Helper) is low on health (Or in any critical situation) they can perform the face-to-face food transfer. All Kirby(or his Helper) has to do is to be close to each other and they also must have consumed a certain amount of food.

This is a list of some of the abilities I have used in the Kirby universe:

  1. Beam: I have used this ability in Kirby’s Adventure, Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby Squeak Squad, and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
  2. Fire- I have used this ability in Kirby’s Dream Land, Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby Squeak Squad, and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
  3. Freeze- I have used this ability in Kirby Canvas Curse and Kirby's Adventure.
  4. Burning- I have used this ability in Kirby Canvas Curse and Kirby's Adventure.
  5. Ice -I have used this ability in Kirby Squeak Squad and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
  6. Bomb- I have used this ability in Kirby  Squeak Squad and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
  7. Sword- I used this ability in Kirby’s Adventure, Kirby Squeak Squad, Kirby Canvas Curse, and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
  8. Spark- I have used this ability in Kirby’s Adventure and Kirby Squeak Squad.
  9. UFO- Ihave used this ability in Kirby Squeak Squad.
  10. Crash-  I have used this ability in Kirby’s Adventure, Kirby Canvas Curse, and Kirby Super Star Ultra.

Here are the Ultimate/Final Weapons of Kirby (and how to obtain them) in order:

  1. Star Rod- Kirby has to collect all the pieces of the Star Rod to battle Nightmare.
  2. Rainbow Sword- Kirby has to collect all the Rainbow Drops to fight Dark Matter. If all the Rainbow Drops are not collected, the KO ending is played and the Rainbow Sword will not form.
  3. Love-Love Stick- The happiness from the citizens of Dream Land will form the Love-Love Stick so Kirby can fight another Dark Matter and Zero.
  4. The Ribbon’s Shard Gun is formed when the fairies’ power crystal combines while Ribbon carries it.
  5. The power from the Dream Fountains Kirby has collected combines to form the Starship.
  6. Meta Knight throws Kirby his Galaxia (formerly Master) sword for Kirby, enabling him to use the Master ability.
  7. Daroach drops the Triple Star Rod for Kirby to use so that Kirby can defeat Dark Nebula.
  8. Meta Knight drops Kirby a Tankbot Metamortex for Kirby so that Kirby can defeat Mega Yin-Yarn.
  9. Landia becomes a “final weapon” for Kirby to use.

Logos Hope Blog!

Me holding a big ice cream

Hey! Krel here with my Logos Hope Blog! Logos Hope has many kinds, which are: MV Logos, MV Logos II, and its predecessor, the MV Doulos.

Me posing in front of Logos Hope.
This big ship is better than MV Doulos in many ways: It sells food and drinks and has aircons. It was refreshing! MV Doulos is the predeccessor of MV Logos Hope.
Doulos looks like an old-fashioned ship because its floors are made of wood, not steel.

Plus, MV Doulos lacks aircons. Doulos also doesn’t sell food, unlike Logos Hope.
Also, Doulos only gives out books, and no food.  MV Logos Hope is far better than MV Doulos in a lot of ways (see above) MV Logos, one of MV Logos Hope’s predecessors, met her end in the Chilean coast, having crashed into a rock.
When I went to Logos Hope, we had to wait because of a long line.

When we went inside, the first thing we did was watch the rules in the form of a movie.

After watching the movie, we took a picture with one of the ship’s crew. Then we went to the bookstore and stayed there for hours.
I read for 1 ½ hours!
After we bought our respective books(my mom had lots of books about cats and chocolate, her two most favorite things), we ate some ice cream cones and drank vanilla-flavored Coke(my faaaaaaaaaaaavorite….)! It tastes like normal Coke, but has some tanginess and a hint of vanilla.

The ice cream cone I ate in Logos Hope was twice as large as any ice cream cone I’ve ever eaten in my whole life!
After that, we got the books given to visitors of MV Doulos and MV Logos Hope. Then we went out waiting for my dad.
I was playing my DS and drinking the remaning amount of the vanilla-flavored Coke.
When my dad arrived, I gave the vanilla-flavored Coke to him. He said: “Why are you giving me an already-consumed Coke?” I told him, “But it’s a different kind of Coke! Try it!

Me reading.
! We also ate in our fave Thai resto. My mom and I ate Sizzling Beef. It was great! Then we went home, full and satisfied. That’s all! See ya! Ja ne!

Pahiyas Blog!

Hey! Krel here with my Pahiyas Blog! We left at about 3:00 before dawn. We were picked up by Manong Ruso. He dropped us off at Shell.

We rode the bus that was bound to go to Lucban, Quezon. Once we arrived, we went to lots of landmarks,  I even got tired just running around!

I was super tired after that and I could barely walk! Then we just went around shopping.

A beautiful scene from the Garden of Eden in Lucban, Quezon.
We bought lots of souvenirs including broas. After a few hours, we ate lunch. The adobo was spicy! Oh, yeah, I have an extremely low tolerance for spicy fare, you know.
A pond in the Garden of Eden in Lucban, Quezon.

Then, we went out for more shopping and visiting landmarks until the guide told us to come back. After that, we went to Liliw to eat halo-halo. It was soo delicious!
The Garden of Eden's gate in Lucban, Quezon.

Then we went back home, and it was 9:00. p.m. Princess, my aunt, used her third eye on the return trip. Scary! See ya guys! Matta ne!

All About Ateneo Blog!

Blue Eagle

Hi! Krel here with my Ateneo blog! Sorry if it's too small. It came form Wikipedia!
The founding of the Ateneo de Manila University finds its roots in the history of the Society of Jesus as a teaching order in the Philippines. The first Spanish Jesuits arrived in the Philippines in 1581 as missionaries. They were custodians of the ratio studiorum, the Jesuit system of education developed around 1559. Within a decade of their arrival, the Society, through Fr. Antonio Sedeño, founded the Colegio de Manila in Intramuros in 1590. The Colegio formally opened in 1595, and was the first school in the Philippines. The Colegio de Manila was often referred to as the Colegio de San Ignacio or Colegio Máximo de San Ignacio in historical textbooks. It was sometimes also called the Colegio Seminario de San Ignacio, a name which describes the Colegio de Manila and its extension residential college, the Colegio de San José, established in 1601, and the precursor of the present San Jose Seminary.
In 1621, the Colegio de Manila was authorized to confer university degrees in theology and arts by virtue of the privileges conferred by Pope Gregory XV on colleges of the Society of Jesus In 1623, Philip IV of Spain confirmed the authorization, and the decree arrived in Manila in 1625. In 1732, Philip V of Spain founded two regius (royal) professorships in the Colegio, one in canon and another in civil law, making the school both a pontifical and a royal institution. The institution was frequently referred to in contemporary documents as the Universidad de San Ignacio, the first royal and pontifical university in the Philippines and in Asia.

Ateneo de Manila University's logo
However, by the mid-18th century, Catholic colonial powers, notably France, Portugal,  and Spain, had grown hostile to the Society of Jesus because the Jesuits actively educated and empowered colonized people. The Society was particularly notorious for encouraging indigenous people to seek self-governance. Because of this, the colonial powers eventually expelled the Society, often quite brutally, from their realms. In 1768, the Jesuits surrendered the San Ignacio to Spanish civil authorities following their suppression and expulsion from Spain and the rest of the Spanish realm, including the Philippines. Under pressure from Catholic royalty, Pope Clement XIV formally declared the dissolution of the Society of Jesus in 1773. Pope Pius VII reinstated the Society in 1814, after almost seven decades of persecution and over four decades of formal suppression. However, the Jesuits would not return to the Philippines until 1859

, almost a century after their expulsion. Some of my relatives go to Ateneo, such as my Tito Idel. He is a chess teacher there. He 's really a chess master!

QC Carnival Blog

Me posing for a picture.
Yowza! Hey! Krel here, with my QC Carnival Blog! After I ate breakfast, Oma downloaded some cool iPad apps like Fruit Ninja and Monopoly HD.

I played with Fruit Ninja and liked it, and I played with it all day!

Then I played with iPad Monopoly. It’s even more awesome than real Monopoly! In Fruit Ninja, the very first thing I did was play Zen Mode. It was pretty cool, and I got my first high score! Then I played Arcade Mode and got my highest score in the game. Last of all, I played Classic Mode. I got my 2nd highest score there. After that, I played Monopoly HD.

It’s cooler, but with the same rules! But you can change the default rules before each game in the House Rules. My favorite player piece is Battleship.

My strategy is to get more property and make people bankrupt. I stopped playing at 5:00 because we went to the carnival.

Me and Mr.Dude/Tito Marco before the Wild Wind starts.
Me, my relatives, and my driver waiting in the line of the Wild Wind.
My first ride was great! I loved the Wild Wind and the Bump Car.

Plus, I went to the Ferris Wheel and had a ball. My fave ride was the Wild Wind!

I also went to Max’s for dinner. The fried chicken was so great! While going home, I acquired these Fruit Ninja blades: Disco Blade, Party Blade, Old Glory, and Butterfly Knife. That’s all! See ya!
