Hi! I’m Krel. This is my Smurftastic blog! The Smurfs are a race of blue people created by Peyo, a Belgian cartoonist. The Smurfs may not look like it, but they are really old! Their leaders, Papa Smurf and Grandpa Smurf, have led the Smurfs for centuries. Normal Smurfs are around 50-150 years old while leader Smurfs are 542-1,000 years old.Grandpa Smurf is the only Smurf to live for 1,000 years due to the effects of the Long Life Stone.

Their enemy is Gargamel, a wizard who is bent on capturing the Smurfs since his teens. He has ancestors in the cartoon.
The Smurfs are family along with Patrick and Grace Winslow in the movie. They have met other races and humans in the cartoon. The Smurf Village is a village which the Smurfs live in. Gargamel finds it in the movie when Clumsy Smurf goes in the magic field. I feel that the Smurfs should live in the modern age so that magic and science can co-exist.

This my Cars 2 blog! Ka-chow! The story/ movie starts with Lightning McQueen returning from a race, and Mater greets him. Later on, Lightning is seen with Sally Carrera, his wife, in Radiator Springs local resto. Later, Mater and other cars see Miles Axlerod, the secretly-evil leader of an evil incorporation and Francesco Bernoulli, the Italian racer who is proud of himself on TV. Axlerod sets the World Grand Prix, a grand prix crossing from Tokyo, Japan {my favourite! Suke!}, to London, England{ this is where Axlerod’s true identity is exposed. Suck it, Axlerod!}

On the 1^st race, Francesco won, with McQueen putting the blame on Mater. On the 2^nd race, McQueen won, making Francesco mad at losing in his own country. On the 3^rd race, however, Axlerod’s identity is exposed and for real Axlerod was revealed to be a gas-run car. Later on, Mater is knighted by Her Majesty Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth [I’m guessing it’s her in car style]. Then, Axlerod is arrested and the Radiator Springs Grand Prix starts. I feel befuddled because the movie is so Sherlock Holmes style! Well, yow-chow guys! See ya!

Mario 101!

Hi! My name is Krel. This is my blog about:Mario!

Mario is a plumber/carpenter appearing in more than 200 games. He rescues Princess Peach from Bowser, Bowser J.r., or the Koopalings. He uses power-ups to gain special abilities. He has his own abilities, too.




Luigi is Mario's brother. Although he has 1 video game and its sequel, I like him because he's so funny! He appears in Paper Mario: A Thousand Year-Door and Mario is Missing.




Princess Peach is Mario's damsel in distress. She, along with Luigi, has 1 video game, Super Princess Peach. Here, I'm going to show 4 videos I got from Youtube. Sources: Wikipedia, Youtube

Mario's enemies are: Bowser, The king of Koopas, Bowser J.r., Bowser's favorite son: he appears in most games, and The Koopalings, Bowser's other children. Bowser is one of Mario's main enemies. He kidnaps Princess Peach in most games, although Bowser J.r. was Bowser's substitute in kidnapping Princess Peach in New Super Mario Bros. Bowser J.r. is the eighth son of Bowser. He is also Bowser's favorite son. The
Koopalings are Bowser's other children asides Bowser J.r.[Bowser J.r. is not part of the Koopalings.]They are bosses of Super Mario 3. Princess Daisy is Mario's out of the Mushroom Kingdom damsel-in-distress.
She debuts in Super Mario Land and some other Mario games.
Items: Super Mushoom: Makes Mario/Luigi tall.  There are many variations of Mushrooms, like:
Mini Mushroom: Makes Mario/Luigi very small and vulnerable, but increases their jump.
Mega Mushroom: Makes Mario/Luigi very big and slightly invinsible. This mushroom, like the Starman, cannot protect Mario/Luigi from falls and lava.
Poison Mushroom: Unlike other items, this mushroom may make Mario/Luigi lose his ability, make him small, or KO him.
Fire Flower: Turns Mario/Luigi into Fire Mario/Luigi.
Starman: Makes Mario/Luigi invinsible for a few seconds. If a cheating device is used, it will protect Mario/Luigi indefinitely.
Vegetable: Can be thrown at the enemy. Only debuts in Super Mario Bros. 2.
Bom-omb- Can be thrown at enemy. Explodes after a few seconds.
Elixir: When thrown, it opens a hidden door. Only debuts in Super Mario Bros. 2.
Tanooki Suit: Turns Mario/Luigi into Tanooki Mario/Luigi. If powered by the Super Leaf, it allows the player to access the ability to turn into a statue for a few seconds.
Super Leaf: Transforms Mario/Luigi into Raccoon Mario/Luigi. If the P-Meter is full, Raccoon Mario/Luigi can fly high if pressing the jump button.
P-Wing-Turns Mario/Luigi into P-Wing Mario/Luigi. Can be combined with the Tanooki Suit.

Captain America’s true name is Steve Rogers. He was chosen by the military to take the serum known as the Super Soldier Serum that will change and enhance his life and strength. He wields an indestructible shield that can be thrown and used as a weapon.

His nemesis is Red Skull. Red Skull’s true name is Johann Schmidt. Schmidt was born and raised in a German village. When his parents died, he became a thief hating humanity, taking the alias Red Skull.

Cap’s partners are: James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes, a wartime friend and partner of Captain America. The Game Of Destiny [My Version]

While watching our after-dinner movie, Father explained that there was a battle competition requiring 10 people who are super-amazing, daring, famous, adventurous, & victorious.




The challenge was: defeat your opponents & climb the 100 dragon towers. I was feeling excited, determined, energetic, victorious, and ready. The next day was the day of the challenge.


We were climbing, running, bumping, overtaking, & crashing each other on the tracks, trying to climb even one of the towers.
But, in the cold, evil, bitter end…I won!


I now have centillions of cash, a trip around the world, a happy life, & a Japanese ninja samurai army.

Varekai in Manila, Philippines: A Comedic Play (Review)

Varekai according to Wikipedia is a “Cirque du Soleil touring production that premiered in Montreal,Quebec,Candada in April 2002. Its title means "wherever" in the Romani language, and the show is an "acrobatic tribute to the nomadic soul"
The plot is based loosely on the Greek myth of Icarus, who melts his wings after flying too close to the sun. Rather than drowning in the sea below him, in Varekai Icarus lands inside a lush forest, in which the creatures teach him how to fly again”.

Cirque du Soleil according to Wikepedia also “(English: "Circus of the Sun", English pronunciation: /ˈsɪərk duː soʊˈleɪ/), is a Canadian entertainment company, self-described as a "dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment." Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and located in the inner-city area of Saint-Michel, it was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier”.

Acts: Varekai's acts comprise many acrobatic talents, ranging from aerial arts to Russian swing, among others

• Flight of Icarus: Icarus performs astounding dives and contortions in the net that holds him captive.
• Icarian games: Foot-juggling is one of the oldest circus arts disciplines. The bearer lies on his back and twirls the voltigeur on his feet.
• Water meteors: Three young acrobats twirl ropes with metal cups attached to the ends, simultaneously performing virtuosic acrobatic feats.
• Triple trapeze: On an elevated trapeze apparatus, four young women perform a series of striking acrobatic moves.
• Georgian dance: This act takes its inspiration from the national dance of the Lezgins, popular among many people in the Caucasus Mountains.

• Handbalancing on canes: The performer achieves a variety of contortions and poses while balancing on a series of canes.
• Russian swings: Propelled by two Russian swings, acrobats are hurled high into the air, alighting on their partners' wrists or on a landing canvas, sometimes even flying from one moving swing to the other.

What I liked about Varekai is that it’s full of comedy. Before the show started, there was a guy whose popcorn blew all over the place. Why? Because he was standing near an exhaust pipe and everyone laughed!

1.Water Meteor-The Water Meteor was awesome! These kids hurling rings & balancing themselves…Whoa! I couldn’t do that myself!=@

2.Flight of Icarus-The Flight of Icarus is weird…The guy playing Varekai Icarus used hammock-like wings which makes the actor look like a fan=)

3. Slippery Surface- This looks confusing! The stage looks like water! But it’s just a cover! Heehee!

4. Icarian Games –Yikes! If this game was real, the people would be bowling pins & the partipants as bowling balls!=%

5. Russian Swings The event before the show ends. I woke up on this part. More like a crazy person’s party.=+

6. Clown Acts [favorite] –The name of this act really is funny,no?
Well, there’s a magician who has a female clown for an assistant w/ no face paint but she’s funny.
Why did I sleep? Because it was way past my bedtime,9:00 P.M. I got so drowsy and then I couldn’t take it anymore, that’s why I slept. But then again I woke up before the end of the show because I heard music and shouting.

Events at Rizal Park

07/3/11…
This is one of those days that 3 major events happened to me! =)

Well, let’s proceed.

I alone have come to tell YOU all about my SupeR-signed orangely fun-time at Rizal Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.The 1st event that happened to me was The Silent Drill Exhibition. The Marines were awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked it so much! My favorite formation is the X-Formation, where marines do a stance that signifies their friendship for their brother marines. [Next: The concert! Yay!] Oh, P.S. I liked the gunshots of the marines!=)

2. The next event: The UST Wind Orchestra concert! Unforch, we were late
=( but it doesn’t matter: it was fun! WHY? Because the band played “Penny Lane” by the Beatles… =) Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Whoa! And the concert was great. [Next: L&F show!D-Yay!] =)

3. LET’S GET READY TO RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUMBLE! THIS is the final event. The L&F show! Well, this was great too because this was the spot where the hero was shot by those freaking evil Old World Spaniards. [I’ll never forgive those guys!!] Well, there are formations from the fountains. H-Ball Formation is one of them and we left at the end of the show.
